Coronavirus-19 (COVID-19)
MLee UPDATES
Coronavirus 19
Like many of you, we have spent the last few weeks following the spread of the novel Coronavirus, speculating how, if, and/or when it will affect our community. At MLee, the safety and well being of our clients, their families, and our staff is of the utmost importance to us. Taking the proper steps to ensure the well being of our entire MLee Family is our main priority. With that in mind, we want you to know we are actively monitoring the spread of the virus, carefully following the recommendations of local health officials (Travis County Health Dept.), and making adjustments as necessary.
Immediate Precautions
Effective immediately we have begun to take the following steps:
- Immediate handwashing between clients and transitions
- Educating clinic staff so they know the signs and symptoms
- Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfection of high traffic areas in the clinic
- Additional hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, and disinfectant spray readily available throughout the clinic
- Increased awareness of personal hygiene etiquette: covering coughs and sneezes
- All clients, parents, siblings, and clinic staff are encouraged to stay home if they feel sick
- If your child shows signs of fever, coughing, and/or fatigue please contact the clinic and stay home
